"I fish because I love to; because the environs where trout are found, which invariably are beautiful, and hate the environs where crowds of people are found, which are invariably ugly, ... because only in the woods can I find solitude without loneliness." - Robert Traver

The pike have been biting this year! Spring time brought up some larger ones including a 42" one that broke my rod. New gear as well that has been amazing and made fishing a lot better.

Hello.

Sometimes it is the simple things in life that give one the best form of escape. Looking through maps and then wandering until you find the blue line. New stream bends and shallow bays that spark the ancient feeling that you are the first one casting there.

The never ending search for those spots along with the contained excitement is what fuels the fish-less days. This site serves as a shelf to hold documentation of where I go and what I am lucky enough to catch.
